What we’re comparing

The new Cours Informatique Seniors 17 website launched on 31 July 2026. To see what changed, I compared Google Search Console figures for 1–31 August 2025, when the old website was still live, with 1–31 August 2026: the first full month after launch.

This provides a straightforward before-and-after measure of how often the website appeared in Google and how often people chose to visit it.

What changed in Google search

Google showed the site in 3,023 search results in August 2026, compared with 6,360 a year earlier. On its own, that could look like a fall. But the site was appearing much higher in the results and attracting more people to click through.

Organic clicks rose from 25 to 40, while the average Google position improved from 17.0 to 8.9. The homepage alone rose from 15 to 33 clicks. The new site is appearing more selectively, but in positions that are much more likely to produce visits.

What the calls tell us

August was not a normal trading month: Isabelle was away for three weeks. Even so, four new clients called. Two people looking for training booked appointments; two people needing immediate computer repairs found help elsewhere while she was unavailable. At the beginning of September, two further prospective clients called for information about starting lessons in October or November. The demand is there — and the website is making it easier for people to find the right service when they need it.
