What information should go on my stationery?
Sole traders & partnerships:
- Your company name
- If your company name does not include your own name, you must also show your own name (Trading as)
- Your address
- Your contact details (phone number, fax number & email address)
- Your VAT registration number – if you’re registered for VAT.
- If you are a partnership, you don’t have to name any of the partners, but you must list them if you decide to list one of them.
Limited liability partnership (LLP):
As well as the list above for Sole traders & Partnerships, you also need to include:
- The LLP’s registered name
- Any trading names that it uses
- Where the LLP is registered
- The company registration number
- The registered office address
- The correspondence address (if different from your registered address)
You don’t have to name any of the partners, but you must list them all if you decide to list one of them.
Limited company:
As well as the list above for Sole traders & Partnerships, you also need to include:
- The company’s full legal name
- Any trading names that it uses
- Where the company is registered, e.g. England.
- The registered company number
- The registered office address
- The correspondence address (if different from your registered address)
